ADMISSIONS PROCEDURES:
Rainier View Montessori Academy is committed to providing a Montessori foundation for life that
establishing a love for learning and encourages respect for themselves and others.  Please contact us
for a current enrollment packet.  Upon receiving the enrollment packet you will be notified of the date
and time of your personal interview with the Head of the School.  At this time your child’s teacher will set
up a time that she and your child can spend an hour together to establish if Rainier View Montessori
Academy is the best fit for your child.  

APPLICATION CHECKLIST:  
You will need to have the following in order to be registered.   Ensuring that you have the following items
complete will help in prevent delays in the admissions process due to an incomplete applicant file.  

Please submit the following:
1. Student registration fee
$175.00 for primary students
$200.00 for elementary students.                                     
2.  Enrollment packet                                                      
3.  Parent/Student Agreement
4.  Enrollment Application/Family Information Form
5.  Immunization Form (Must be up to date for student to enter school)
6.  Parent Volunteer Interest Inventory
7.  Financial Agreement
8.  Parent/Teacher/Student Interview  
9.  Teacher/Student Observation (3 Hours)  

ADMISSION STATUS DECISIONS:
In most cases, parents will be notified of their student’s admission status after the teacher/student
observation period.  

1.   Approval-
Student is approved for admission to Rainier View Montessori Academy and parents should be
prepared to sign the Enrollment Agreement (financial) in order to reserve space for their child.

2.   Denial-
Student is not approved for admission or parents choose to withdraw their child from the admissions
process.  The student registration fee is non-refundable.  

3.  Alternate-
Student is approved for admission; however, space is not available.  The student’s application file will
be placed in the student candidate pool for consideration when space becomes available.  Priority will
be given to families who currently have students enrolled at Rainier View Montessori Academy.

Please Note:  
It is the responsibility of the parent to be sure all application material is completed and received by the
school administration.  The sooner a student’s file is complete, the sooner an interview can be
scheduled and the student cleared for admission.
