We will be doing arts/crafts and games , as well as integrating Math, Reading, Language,
Science, and Social Studies to build strong characteristics of the whole child.  Additionally every
Friday will be a field trip.  

Session 1:  ( June 23rd-27th )
HOW DOES YOUR GARDEN GROW?  
Lets dig, cultivate, and plant a variety of flowers and vegetables.  The children will learn about
composting, worms, and organic gardening.  Our community garden club will also be working with
the children.  They will be eating from their garden all summer.  

Session 2:  ( June 30th-July 3rd )
AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL
The children will be learning about America; where they live and how we are a part of the 50 states.  
They will dance to and sing patriotic songs.  The will learn about and make American flags.  

Session 3:  ( July 7th-July 11th )
LETS GO BUGGIE
Learn all about bugs, classify bugs, sort bugs, catch bugs, draw bugs, identify bugs, watch bugs.  
Friday field trip to Pacific Science Center to see bugs.

Session 4:  ( July 14th-18th )
RAIN FOREST CAFÉ
We will be learning about the animals of the rain forest, we will find out why its so rainy in the rain
forest, and we will learn how to preserve the rain forest for future generations.  Friday field trip to the
Rain forest Café in South Center.

Session 5:   ( July 21st-25th )
LETS SEE WHATS UNDER THE SEA
We will be learning about the creatures and plants that live under the sea.  Friday field trip to the
Aquarium in downtown Seattle.

Session 6:    ( July 28th-Aug 1st )
MUSIC CAMP
Find out about notes and rhythm, sing songs, find out how we use music everyday.  Friday field trip
to be announced (hoping for concert in the park).  

Session 7:    (Aug 4th-Aug 8th)
THE GREAT OUTDOORS
We will learn how to use a compass and read a simple map.  REI will be teaching us how to
LEAVE NO TRACE, we will finish the week with a camping trip for all campers and their families.  

Session 8:     (August 11th-Aug 15th)
WATER WORKS
Bubbles, sprinklers, sun and fun.  Make fresh squeezed lemonade. Friday field trip to the pool to
swim.    

Session 9:  (August 18th-Aug 22nd)
DINOSAURS
Go back in time to prehistoric times and learn about the Jurassic period.  We will be digging for
Dino fossils.  Field trip TBA.

ENROLLMENT:
1.  Call and request an enrollment form.  
2.  Fill out the attached registration form.  Use one form for each child.  
3.  Turn in the registration form and $30 registration fee to reserve your child’s space.

HOURS:  10 am—2 pm  Pack a lunch.

Each session $100.00 except Session 2 which is $80.00
